401 Valentina Penthouse Suite

"We had a great time. The location was perfect and we had two different condos in the Valentina suites. The larger one allowed us to get together for dinner and everybody had access to their own bedroom. It was a perfect location with easy access to so many Amenities. "

"This was our second time staying in Valentina Suites and working with Coastal Vacation Rentals. (Last time we stayed in #402. #401 is nicer because of the outdoor patio/balcony.) The unit is not inexpensive but I think it is a good value. It's spacious, and the location is great - right on the main drag and a short walk to the beach. Very well kept, too. Nicely decorated, furniture in good shape - not worn out like in some rentals. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and utensils. One very minor caveat - the beds are high, which was an issue for an elderly person in our party. (She ended up sleeping on one of the sofa beds in the living room.) Gated parking was appreciated. Finally, the folks at Coastal Vacation Rentals could not have been kinder or more professional, and I look forward to working with them again."

"My husband and I rented this location for the week because of it’s location to downtown and the kichen/patio arrangement. We found the floor plan was perfect for us. We had 6 adults, 1 toddler and 1 infant. The large appliances and finishes were great quality. We had rain all week and spent more time indoors cooking and playing games.
Area’s for improvement-there are 3 futon couches that lay flat for additional sleepers. They are terribly uncomfortable. There is no comfortable seating in the living room. The kitchen is stocked with old worn out cookware and utensils. We found parts and pieces of small appliances-no mixer but inserts in the drawer. An Instapot insert but no appliance???
Our take away-there are top of the line Viking appliances but plan on bringing your own pots and pans because what’s there looks like they picked them up from a garage sale. Since we were drawn to the kitchen and paid top dollar for the rental we expected more and were disappointed.
Also, there are only 3 dish towels????
Anyways, if you don’t plan to use the kitchen or sit in the living room it’s a great location. The beds and linens were very comfortable. I would recommend this property if you want a nice place to stay close to downtown and you plan on eating out."

"We stay here as a family every year and enjoy this rental property. The condo is clean and the kitchen is well-equipped to cook anything. We love the patio area the best. It has a beautiful view and plenty of seating. We accidentally left baby clothes in the dryer when we left, and the cleaning crew contacted us and even folded our laundry for us. "

"The stay was pleasant. We had a party of 8 which was more than enough space. Three rooms with at least a queen size bed in each then the couch. I wish the shower got hotter but it wasn’t bad. There’s also no AC so prepare to have the doors open for fresh air if you want to cool down. Overall, I would rent again. "

"We had two families with a total of 4 kids. We stayed a week. It is about a 10-15minute walk to the beach and you can see it from the balcony. The two smaller rooms have space for a toddler inflatable bed while the master could fit two twin inflatable beds. The floors were dirty but I mopped the place with the swiffer provided and it was great for the rest of the trip.

The previous reviews had complained that the house did not have enough pots and pans so we brought our own but looks like it was restocked. No spices so make sure to bring your own.

Few minor issues. First (which is not the rental's fault), there is a restaurant right next door that had a banquet hall and had music blasting from 3pm and did not stop till midnight. I could not get the kids to bed at 8 with the music BLARING. They turned down the music around 11pm but kept going till 12am

Next, the freezer wouldn't close all the way well. We only figured this out when we opened the freezer in the morning to find everything melted. The freezer drawer needs to be pushed in real tight and double/triple checked.

The furniture was decent but the couch armrest shows how much it's been used. Maybe get a washable couch wrap bc it looks pretty gross.

The management did send someone for the freezer but was not able to come in since we had left for the beach and did not come back in time.

I would recommend this place and would visit again.
We ordered in from Cracked crab and Shin's poke (I would do both again). And there's a great little shop for women kitty corner from the place called Wildflower women and Sarah the manager was very helpful and sweet. We also went to the cinnamon bun place early in the morning but I wouldn't go there again. last but not least, the taste of the valley wine shop below was perfect to walk down while kiddos were watching a movie. "

"We stayed there with family members for a college graduation. Could not have been more perfect! Very clean and comfortable, living room and kitchen were big enough and comfortable enough for lots of family "hanging out" time. The view from the patio is spectacular and it is walking distance from the beach. Complex is quiet and the fountains and music throughout are a beautiful touch. We had a fairly stressful, chaotic weekend and staying at the Villa Valentina really lessened that stress. Would DEFINITELY stay here again. "

Restaurants, shopping, bowling, and the beach are all easy to walk to. We enjoyed playing pickle ball at a park in Shell Beach. We are definitely coming back."

"The property was better than what we imagined! It was a really nice villa that was central to all main spots in downtown Pismo (Pismo beach, pier, downtown restaurants and especially splash restaurant!!) the villa was more than what we expected and kitchen amenities were awesome since we did a lot of cooking.
Tons of Pros and only really 1 minor con which was no swimming pool onsite since the beach was always at a cold temperature. But overall the living space was more than adequate and the lanai was very spacious for our entire family to have dinner and watch the fireworks spectacular! We are already talking about reserving the same villa for next years 4th of July family vacation! "

"This was our first stay at the Valentina and we loved it!! Our unit was large and very roomy! The kitchen had a table large enough where we could all dine together which was great!!! They have several BBQ's that are available for use which was convenient! The Valentina is very clean and well maintained. The grounds are kept up beautifully. Parking is in a secure lot and very conveniently located. No matter what you are looking for I am sure you can find it at the Valentina. I would highly recommend this vacation rental in Pismo Beach! "This was our family's second time at the Valentina room 401. There were a few ants (I saw maybe 5), but otherwise the place has been kept very well. Had a great time. May try a month long rental of a smaller room sometime in the late winter. Too close to the cinnamon roll place for my waist line. Easy on/off to the 101 North and South for Avila, SLO, Arroyo Grande, etc."

"My fianc`e and I brought my mother and my aunt here as a christmas gift to them. We stayed the weekend in 401 and it was fabulous! First off the service in the reservation office is great.Everyone is so nice and helpful. The condo was exceptionally well kept and the living space was grand. I am a chef so cooking in the state of the art kitchen made me feel at home. That is the theme of this place be on vacation but feel at home! We didn't have the pleasure of meeting Judy face to face but I can tell she takes pride in making sure every guest feels welcome and all is well....We absolutely love Pismo and are frequent visitors. We remeber when this place opened not too long ago and after our good friends downstairs Ash & Lissa, at Taste of The Valleys, recommended it & we could not wait to stay! Our wait is over and I must say we will definately be back!!! Also we really appreciate the fact that the people who run the Valentina have several clauses in the contract that make people responsible for how they choose to respect the grounds and the manner in which they take up residency there. That way everything is kept in tip top shape for every guest to enjoy. It lets you know they care about us guests and value our time away and money. "I was only able to sleep about 3 hours at a time in the horrible beds at this condo. Just to be fair, my husband and I were the only ones that hated the beds, we have a tempur-pedic. However, five days of little sleep was hard to take. I could have done without what they called the "Penthouse" of all of the units. For the rental price ($600 per night) I expected the beds to at least be comfortable.

The kitchen appliances (Viking Stove, Oven, etc) were excellant, and furnishings comfortable with the exception of the beds."
