"This was a great condo, you can't beat the location. Just be aware that there's a lot of stairs to get up to it, so if you have to unload or have trouble climbing a lot of stairs, this isn't the property for you. The parking was okay, very tight since it's a long narrow tandem parking garage. "

"Excellent rental right across from the beach in Avila Beach. Loved sitting on the balcony and watching the waves and people meander by. It was over the Avila Market but no noise problems. Ezra at the Market was friendly, funny and helpful. The place was clean, the balcony was a little dirty- but expected being outside in the wind, elements and birds. The inside accomodations were great. The only small issue was the coffee table was a little unstable and loose. When you touched it it would move. Just needs a little support. Otherwise the rental was well stocked, comfortable and clean. This was the perfect space and I would recommend it!! Property manager was professional and friendly. Avila beach is such a sweet little town. Everyone was friendly and the food delicious. Easy trips to Pismo Beach and Morrow Bay!"

"You just cannot beat this location. Situated above the Avila market, you are literally steps away from everything. The view from the condo is stunning. It is so nice to sit on the balcony and enjoy the ocean breeze. You can walk to restaurants, bars, coffee spots, shopping and wine tasting! Would definitely stay again."

"Amazing location, terrific view, great overall experience.
--As others have noted a little noise from downstairs market, but more during the day than at night (creaking/slamming doors). Not a problem for us.
--Patio could use a sweep from time to time, but indoors was immaculate.
--Note that access is by 2 long flights of stairs if that's an issue for you.
--Pack your own Kleenex and/or Ziplocs (most places seem to have this, but not this one)
--Management company was friendly and informative.
--Remodel is beautiful with custom cabinetry and tilework.
Had a terrific stay, and would definitely book this property again.

We golfed at the Avila Resort, walked the beach, the Bob Jones Trail and explored all the shops. The condo was beautiful and very well appointed. Recommend for anyone who loves the beach!"

"Perfect place for a relaxing weekend. Layout was great for two couples. Patio was great to take in the beach view and listen to the waves. Everything needed within walking distance. Easy drive to SLO for eating and shopping, but could easily spend all your time at this rental and Avila Beach. Property was clean and well maintained. Property management was friendly and responsive. Definitely recommend this rental. Better yet grab two more couples and rent the adjoining unit and open the deck to both sides. "

"Overall, we were very happy with our stay at this condo. It is a great location- waking up with the view and sitting on the deck every morning was a perfect way to start our day. The condo was spacious and clean, also felt warm and inviting. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and basic cleaning supplies. The pantry is also available for use if you like to bring snacks. drinks etc. Having a garage to park in was also a huge plus. We didn't have any issues, but any interactions we had with the rental company were professional and friendly. The rules for the condo are also posted in a couple places, so it was easy to read for reference. You can hear buzzing at night in the master bedroom, but it became "white noise" and not a deal breaker. We also loved the outside shower, especially after long days on the beach. We hope to be back again! "

"This property was PERFECT for a weekend getaway for me and my friends. We wanted accommodations right on the beach as we did not want to leave the condo due to the pandemic. This property allowed us to fully enjoy the beach without having to leave our isolation. The balcony was large and had a BBQ and a table with seating for 6. The property had all the necessary amenities we needed, such as soap, shampoo, cleaning supplies, fully furnished kitchen, fireplace, Netflix, and tons more. The only negative I experienced was not being able to easily find the gate to enter the parking lot. This is also the only way to access the entrance to the property. But this was so minor. I can't wait to go back to Avila so that I can stay at this property again!"

"Beautiful condo right on the beach. You can not get a better location in Avila. The sunset view is the best in the area as well. The property was very clean when we checked in. The only downside to the stay was the amenities need updating. The pillows, linens, and some towels need to be replaced. There were only 5 miss matched wine glasses and no serving platters available. There are plenty of pots, pans, utensils and dishes available though. It is also important to note that the guest bedroom does not have any windows so even with a fan, can get quite warm at night.Very good customer service from Coastal Vacations - super responsive and nice staff. Be sure to have dinner at Blue Moon and breakfast at Custom House or Fat Cats. There are many wine tasting rooms in Avila, but you are very close to Edna Valley wineries if you want to drive. We would definitely recommend this property to others. "

Inside of property was clean but the deck had many feathers from a dead animal and it was obvious that the outside bar deck shelf has not been cleaned in quite awhile, at least not the night before our arrival."

"We had a spectacular time in Avila Beach! This place is in a perfect location and we were surprised that their were so many restaurants, shops, brew pubs and wine bars since it seems like a very small town. We went on a whale watching sailboat, hiked in Montana de Oro, and saw tons of sea life and birds right from the balcony. Bring binoculars! Don't forget to get the fresh caught fish off the furthest pier and kayaking is a must do!"

"We've rented 356 and 258 Front Street for a long weekend with our extended family four times and always loved our stay. With both units, you can open the entire balcony, which overlooks Avila Beach.
Access to the beach is fabulous — it is across the street. This is great for a large group of people who want to come and go. Our primary activity is hanging out at the beach, but people come and go for food, ice cream and shopping.
The units are comfortable. We have a big family dinner in one unit one night, the other unit the next. We eat at the Farmer's Market — up the street directly below the property — on Friday night.
The place is clean and the property manager responsive. We look forward to our stay all year.

"The following is for the rental company only, not to be used publically. — We were pleased overall with the rental. The only complaint was that the 2nd bedroom had no window and no ceiling fan. It was very “stuffy” in the room with no ventilation and the temperatures being in the high 80s. Luckily we had a fan in the master that we utilized in the 2nd bedroom and it helped a little. It should at least have a ceiling fan installed. Otherwise, we enjoyed the rental.

"Our family stayed here for my daughters college graduation in San Luis Obispo. We loved the location. Right outside the door are many great restaurants and coffee shops. The beach is across the street. Loved sitting on the deck and watching the beautiful sunsets. The condo comes equipped with everything you could need. "

"My husband and I stayed in this rental and it was amazing. The deck alone is epic and so nice to have a dinner and watch the waves. Very spacious and they give you a blow up bed, extra blankets, a pull out couch bed plus the two bedrooms. We will for sure be coming back to this awesome spot."

"My wife and I stayed for 4 nights with our three boys and had an awesome time - lots of beach time and a amazing sailing trip with Capt Mark with Central Coast Sailing (highly recommended!) - the store below the unit has everything you need and plenty to do within walking distance (swings on the beach, Pirate Park two blocks away, great skateboarding / scooters along the boardwalk, kid-friendly restaurants, and more). Make sure you drive over to Avila Farm to feed the animals too! Great Vacation - could see this becoming a yearly tradition!"

"We held our extended family reunion in Avila Beach at this property. We all had such a nice time. The property management answers the phone promptly and is courteous and responsive. I found this comforting. The location is just lovely. Beds are comfortable, but 2 of the "Sleeps 8" are on the sleeper sofa in the living room. We frolicked on the beach, played golf, hiked over to San Luis Pier, and relaxed on the balcony."

"You cannot beat the location of this rental with the beach just across the quiet street. But you will need sandals when it is hot or you burn your feet on the asphalt and the stairs leading down to the beach.
There are no beach towels at the condo and no salt or pepper. You can buy a few supplies in the deli on the ground floor (e.g. milk) but you had better plan to drive to Pismo Beach or San Luis Obispo to buy groceries.
We managed to fit two cars into the long, skinny garage under the store which you enter from the back, from 1st Street. From the garage you have to haul your bags up two flights of stairs. Or you can park in front of the store for a few minutes and walk along the south side of the store to the back to climb just one flight of stairs.
There a great rocks for finding crabs, sea aneome, and mussels with a five minute walk down the beach away from the pier. We also found sand dollars and other pretty shells at low tide. But the water is very cold, in the low 50's even in late June. We rented wetsuits and boogie boards for $5 each just under the pier, but the water will still leave your hands and feet numb after a while.
The fold out couch has a thin mattress and lumpy surface. But it sure was nice to fall asleep to the sound of the waves.
We really liked the outdoor shower on the back deck as a way to wash off the sand before entering the condo. "

"There were no cleaning supplies for a long stay, no dish soap and one diswashing detergent packet. There was also no sponge to do dishes or wipe down counters. Otherwise, it was a fabulous place with an amazing location. I would absolutely recommend it. The bunk beds were also pretty noisy, but i dont think that kids would mind. "

"The location cannot be beat! The only problem we found was in the kitchen supplies. We have allergies and need to cook. The kitchen pans were in bad shape and not enough supplies/dishes. "

"This was one of the best places we have ever stayed. The view, the convenience to the beach and the parking were great. The only draw back were the 40 stairs from the garage to the door. They are only a pain the day you move in and the day you leave when you have to carry over loaded suitcases and other "Must Have" items "
