"Overall, the house is nice with a lot of room, both inside the house and the garage/carport. Kitchen was decently equipped. Location isn't bad, just outside of town, but road and train noise is definitely not great. As in you cannot leave the front windows or sliding door to balcony open if you want to hear anything inside. Thankfully it wasn't loud in the master bedroom and my daughter and parents who slept upstairs for a few days didn't complain of the noise..

I have 3 complaints. First, the wifi is painfully slow, so slow that I used cellular most of the time. If you work from home on a laptop, this is not a great fit.

Second, as I rented the spot for 6 weeks, I was told the hot tub was available, which it was, but it was disgusting upon my arrival, like reeked of ammonia. As a hot tub owner and daily user, I cleaned best I could and a guy came to service it on my second day. But, hot tub still had mechanical issues throughout my stay, as in quit working for a day or two, then would work, then repeated that cycle a few times.

Third complaint has to do with how appliances are wired in the kitchen. Upon my arrival, the fridge wasn't on and had mold inside that smelled, which I figured out was due to a popped GFCI outlet that controlled the large appliances. Fridge worked fine for about a month, then the GFCI kept popping for no apparent reason, which means when I was out of town one night, the fridge went off and everything I had in the freezer thawed. I lost quite a bit of food. And this happened again a few times the last two weeks of my stay for no reason I could figure out. I'm sure it's up to code, but if you use the freezer, be prepared to lose some food.

Lastly, this was a last minute reservation as I was relocating to the area and needed a place to crash while I looked for a permanent spot, and Coastal Vacation Rentals were great to work with and very accommodating. "
