"This rental was a great place for our family to gather together after 6 months apart. The home was clean, with very nice outdoor areas; the property is safe and the street is very quiet. It is within walking distance to the dunes and the County park/Oceano lagoon, which is a nice bonus. The kitchen is stocked with pots/pans and plates/cups. The appliances work well. The house has an alarm that is a little tricky, and there are no instructions left for how to manage it, describe other house quirks. There is also no wi-fi available (that we could identify).

The master bed is very soft and a bit creaky. The bedrooms have skylights, so if you have an infant or child that will be sleeping in the same room as you and wakes easily to sound or light, I would pack a sound machine and find a way to create darkness for them.

None of those things impact our rating - they are just mentioned for your consideration. It's a bit annoying to have to drive into Pismo to pick up and drop off keys, rather than just arriving at the home. Still - the house is great! We'll be back. "
