"We liked the amenities, the location, the garage parking, the balcony and the overall unit."

"This is a request to the owner. We are readers, not TV watchers, and every year we have to bring a reading lamp for the living room. We work and read at the table and the lighting is especially bad there - more mood lighting. CVR replaced the lights over the table while we were there but it still didn't help. I wish the light was on a timer so that it could be made brighter for those of us that need it for work and reading. My only complaint."

"Everything about this condo is wonderful. The location is perfect, the view sublime, and the building is really well-maintained. I had stayed here 2 years earlier and figured kitchen supplies would look older, but this management company replaces stuff when it starts looking old. There was an All-Clad pan that looked new, as I could not find even one scratch. The knives are great, though I couldn’t find the sharpener. The kitchen overall is well-stocked, which we appreciated as we cooked every day. The whole condo is well-appointed and tastefully decorated. I especially love the beautiful yellow bathroom. I even loved the ceramic soap holders by both sinks. The bed is very comfortable and we slept great every night. Thank you Coastal Vacation Rentals!"

"My girlfriend and I were looking for a nice quiet cozy place to stay up in Central California and came across this wonderful place at 28 San Miguel. After looking at the pictures and knowing the charm of Avila Beach, we decided to rent the property for four nights which I wish we could have stayed longer. It was a beautiful and very classy home with all the amenities anyone could ever need. The pictures didn't even do it justice so if you do rent this place, you'll know what I mean after your time there. Great location and view of the Ocean. Although we had a lot of rain and cold, what better place to be with the one you love.....highly recommend staying there as the whole process of checking in and checking out was excellent. You also have an underground secured garage that has a dumbwaiter....yes, I said dumbwaiter to help get all your belongings up to be unloaded right at your doorstep! Who has that?? Pretty cool and very convenient. Go see what I mean if you get a chance. Worth the money for sure......"

"We've been coming to the area for years but this was the first time staying in Avila rather than in SLO. Oh man, what a difference!! Being able to walk to restaurants, Reimer's, the beach and the park was priceless. We loved our time on the patio -- coffee in the morning, wine in the evening. We LOVED the open floor plan and the upscale finishes (beach chic). Having dedicated covered parking was out of this world. The condo was super clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. We can't wait to return this great beach house!"

"pretty good, many lights were out and I reported this to Coastal Management, however, probably because of the Holiday, no one came to put new lights in while we were there. This is a nice location, there are some stairs to climb, and there is a dumb waiter to help with some of the luggage. We like the one separate bedroom leaving a nice other room and open kitchen. We would visit again."

"We loved our stay in this Avila Beach apartment. It is well maintained, comfortable, spacious and steps from the sand, shops and restaurants. A great location close to everything. It comes with a private place to park and a dumb waiter to help you get your things up and down with ease. The management company was easy to work with. We enjoyed golfing and riding our bikes on the Bob Jones Trail. We had great meals at Merseas on the last pier, Custom House and ice cream at Reimers. Looking forward to returning next year."

"Pretty much as advertised. Very close to the beach.
Only issues I had, were commercial vehicles coming by throughout the day. And the sofa bed is not comfortable at all. I would say, its a one bed only unit. Coastal Vacations is excellent to work with, no issues!"

"It was spacious, neat and clean. It had everything we needed to make our meals and drinks. And just blocks from the beach it was an accessible location with a nice view from the patio. "

"Amazing and I’ve been going here since 2014 renting this same unit. WE love it!! It would be nice if there were more than 2 rolls of toilet paper and one part of a roll of paper towels for 4 people for a weeklong stay. Just a suggestion ���� e couldn’t find the flu water and there were a lot of the little black gnat like bugs in the kitchen when we arrived. I remembered there being a fly swatter before. Obviously none of this has stopped me from staying here and I will continue to stay here!! Love that the owners leave a bottle of wine and two cans of soda-like drinks!! We’ll be back!!

"Very nice and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. The only very minor things were, no soap in the shower dispenser, and the shower light has burned out. We did feel a little issue with the entry time. The literature on the website stated a 3pm check in. When we arrived at 320pm we could not put our Turkey in the refrigerator since the check in has been changed to 4 pm. The cleaning lady called the office to complain about us being early even though we tipped her $10. Not a good start."

"My sister and I have been coming to Avila for the past 7 years to celebrate her birthday. Every year we stayed at the same hotel which we loved. This year one of the nights of our stay was so expensive it forced us to look for a different place to stay. Well lucky for us we found this great condo right in the heart of Avila. We had no idea what to expect after staying in the same place for 7 years, but were so excited when opened the front door and saw all the space with a large and open kitchen, living ,and dining room with beautiful hardwood throughout. The bathroom and bedroom you also good size. The patio is a great place for your coffee in the morning, and happy hour in the afternoon. We loved it so much, we've decide to say goodbye to the hotel, and can't wait to stay here again year after year!"

"This unit is in a fantastic location, just steps from the beach. Parking is easy, but know that you will climb three floors of stairs from the garage to the unit. There is a very convenient dumb waiter that can be used for groceries, luggage, etc. The unit itself is spacious and comfortable, fully furnished and absolutely immaculate. Renting was simple from a very professional management company, and we will definitely be back for another stay soon. "

"The apartment was close to everything Avila Beach has to offer. We parked our car in the secure parking lot, located under the building, and explored Avila Beach by foot. The only downfall was having to drive into Pismo Beach to pick up the keys, and then return to Pismo Beach again before departing. With today's technology, this should be down remotely. I would suggest replacing the living room couch. The couch is horribly uncomfortable to sit on."

"Home was within walking distance to the beach, shopping and dining. Everything was sparkling clean and we loved the balcony where we had breakfast every morning. For those of you who have a hard time finding the right door. It is at the very top of the stairs and next to the dumb waiter on the right. The mattress for the sofa bed is quite squeaky, but the main bed is very comfortable."

We arrived and opened the door to a spotless fully equipped apartment with modern decor, tons of windows, a cute balcony with a table at which we enjoyed every minute we were there. There was a nice bottle of wine in the fridge, coffee and condiments and we needed nothing else during our stay. The location was ideal, beach view and right in the center of town. The parking garage was secure and ample. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation. "

"This was our 3rd Thanksgiving week in this unit. Condo is fully equipped to prepare a traditional Thanksgiving meal for a family. Avila is a great beach town with restaurants and many nearby activities. Unit has beach view and smaller balcony w/table and chairs. There is a bit of noise from the beachfront businesses and traffic. No BBQ. Overall, a wonderful place to stay and we plan to return even now that our Cal Poly son is finishing his B.S./M.S."

"We've rented this unit multiple times and it has never disappointed. If you're a fan of Avila Beach, and you're OK with 1 bedroom and a comfy sofa sleeper, this location is basically perfect. Unit is nicely appointed and kitchen/living area is open and airy...Ocean view from the patio, a great place to enjoy a glass of wine...you'll have some steps to deal with as this is an upper floor unit, so don't forget to use the dumbwaiter in the underground parking when you arrive."

"A really wonderful location, you can watch the waves come in from the front porch! The condo is great, very clean, the bed is so comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need to prepare the most gourmet of meals. It would be great to have a barbeque available, but I can see there would be no place for it. Also, keep in mind that from the garage it is a two flight of stairs walkup, no elevator, with only a small dumbwaiter to get everything up. Otherwise, this condo is perfect!"

The condo was just beautiful and very clean. I'm never sure why people don't put in AC since we always seem to hit the week it would be helpful! Big plus - this place has a large dumb waiter that can bring your bags upstairs and back to the garage! We hope to be back again and again! Next time, just us two!"

"The condo is beautiful and is in a perfect location situated close to shops and kitty corner from the beach. The view of the ocean and pier from the balcony balcony is beautiful. There is a table on the deck with two chairs to enjoy breakfast or evening cocktails. The condo is very beautifully decorated and has all the kitchen gadgets you need. We did not find it too noisy in the evenings, but you can hear trucks delivering to restaurants in the morning. Definitely not too bothersome and worth the amazing location. Avila beach is an amazing spot and this is a great place to stay."

"One of the best locations in Avila. Very large one bedroom/bath apartment. Fully equipped kitchen - easily prepared a full Thanksgiving family dinner. Balcony/outdoor space is limited, but good for a couple. The only possible missing item is a BBQ."

"We parked our car in the garage and never moved it for three days. Can't recommend Avila Beach enough for families with younger children. There's a farm you can bike/run/walk to in about 2 miles on a trail with no cars. Only about 200 m is on the road. The beach is perfect, the water is warm enough to swim in, there's a great kids park, an acquarium, good food, friendly people. This property was so perfect, you're right outside all the action and the furnishings were all very new and lovely. The kitchen was great to whip up some quick meals. "
