"You can’t beat the location and ease of access of this property, and the responsiveness and professionalism of the Coastal Vacation Rentals staff are superb. But the place needs serious work, going beyond the typical dated decor you find in PB. The electric range burners tilt on the stovetop and are unsafe. There’s a gritty feeling on the floors and tabletops. Some of the cookware is greasy and stored on unlined old wood shelves. The dish drain was so filthy we just didn’t bother to use it. The WiFi is seriously slow. It wouldn’t take a ton of money to get this place in better shape. "

"This clean & cozy right-sized getaway offered everything I needed to relax & feel at home! Comfortable sofas in the living & open the front door to a fresh ocean breeze & a slice of sparkling blue water & waves almost touchable! The kitchen provided all the appliances of full size & adequate dishes, pots, pans & utensils for cooking a homemade dinner! The beds were cushy, bathroom roomy & modern. A very cute back yard for bbqing or lounging or watching the beautiful Pismo sunsets. A nice garage to secure your vehicle & washer/dryer inside the house was very convenient! I didn't want to leave! Enjoyed every minute!"

"We have stayed in other rentals and this is my favorite. It is conveniently located, 2 blocks from the cliffs and beach, close to downtown shops and restaurants. Love the fact that there is a garage and that the yard is fenced. There is an outside table. It is so perfect for my dog, too. It is always very clean and well equipped. "

"We stayed the week of Thanksgiving and it was great. The unit was clean and had all we needed. We had a couple of issues - the porch light was out and we were missing an ironing board, and the staff and handyman were very responsive. It is in a great location that is walkable to all the shops and restaurants near the pier and on Price Street. We loved having a washer and dryer in our unit. Overall, it was a lovely stay. "

"We loved that this location was quieter and a bit away from the bustle of the main tourist area, and having a garage meant we always had parking, even during the busy weekend. The small yard was a huge plus both for our dog and for hosing off all the sand after our days on the beach. And so close to the beach!!
We cooked most of our meals in the well equipped kitchen. When we did eat out we were in easy walking distance to lots of great choices.
It was surprising to us that the place was stocked more like a hotel than a VRBO. We had to buy soap, shampoo, and toilet paper to cover our weeklong stay. Wasn't that big a deal - just different. The WiFi was really weak. The only way we could ever connect was to sit right outside the bedroom where the router was located. Again, not a deal killer for us since we had no desire to spend time on our computers, but it did make it hard to check in on important matters at home when necessary.
In spite of any small issues, we absolutely loved our stay here and it would be our first choice anytime we visit Pismo Beach. I already wish we could go back!"

"We have stayed here before and love it. It is very close to the beach and Pismo and perfect size for 4 people. The only negative is there is only one bathroom, but that would not stop us from staying here again!"

"Our family had a good time staying at this beach house. The location was great - 1 block from the beach and 2 blocks to the shops and few more to the pier. The appliances (cooktop) and furnishing (wood bed) were a bit old and should be replaced. "

"Always love this place. It is a nice place that is close to everything. Love the bbq and grass area. Can see the ocean. The only thing I would say is the beds need to be changed. Not very comfortable. "

"Rental was clean and ready to go when we arrived a little late in the day. The yard is real nice if you have young children in addition to a dog.

Only issue was that we had no control over the heating which did come on at times. So it was a little cold at times.

Only issue with booking was that, despite the property being described as allowing dogs, I was not informed about the $100 "pet fee" until after I had made the reservation through VRBO. This was not mentioned anywhere in the listing, and I was informed about it when the rental company called me. By that time, we had already made the decision to bring the dog, and wished they were more transparent about this item. "

"We recently spent 2 weeks at this wonderful rental in Pismo! It was cute and clean. We loved the fenced in side yard and the garage for easy parking! The location was amazing! So close to the beach and all the shops and restaurants!

"Great location!one block from the beach. Walking distance to all the important things, The Old West Cinnamon Roll store, The Shoe Tree and all the shops and restaurants of the downtown area. We stayed here two years ago. The house has been upgraded since then. The yard is perfect for the dog.

"We were very comfortable in this little duplex. We had to bother the office about the TV, but we probably would have to no matter where we stayed. We had quite and we were close to everything. It had a small yard for our dog. It did have a problem with the doors and keys. Very hard to open, because the doors were swollen."

"We spent a summer month here and enjoyed the local areas. The home has a nice yard, which our dog loved. The home is a bit rustic or basic with some attention needed to furniture and decor. The location is nice. You can see he ocean from the patio and easily walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. (Old West Cinnamon Rolls and Splash Cafe have lines out the door. Their food is worth the wait. Woody's at the pier has a nice beach side view.)
There is a lovely area just north with a beautiful bluff walk that leads t a park. Don't miss this view! Also, there are many local hikes. We enjoyed the Bob Jones Trail and Avila Beach as well."

"My wife and I rented this home for a 30 day stay. The location is superb being a few blocks from the ocean and adjacent to Hwy 1 in Pismo Beach. The neighborhood is quiet and residential, however, if desired, the hustle and bustle of the tourist/resort atmosphere of downtown Pismo Beach is only a 5 block walk. This little home has everything you will need: 2 bedrooms w TV's, fully stocked kitchen, lovely appointed living/dining area, a fenced-in grassy side yard, an inside garage and much much more. This is also close to Hwy 101 allowing numerous day trips to San Luis Obispo, Hearst Castle and all of the surrounding beach towns of the central coast."

"My wife, dog and I stayed 5 months here while our daughter finished up her time at Cal Polly. We had a great time. Walked on the beach every day, visited dozens of near-by wineries. Lots of great shops near-by too. The apartment was great, and bigger than the pictures on the web looked. Our dog loved the side-yard. We had tons of friends visit from Texas an Oklahoma (everyone wants to come back). The management office was very responsive. You will love this place! "

"The location was great. One block to the beach. The property was in poor repair. The screen doors were falling off the hinges. The furniture was dirty. If you put the microwave on at the same time as the stove or the oven, half of the house lost power. There are black widow spiders in the garage and in the water heater closet. There was evidence of vermin in the garage. Every window is cracked. The front window is held in place with duct tape. I could go on but I think I've made my point. This could be a really great place if the owner put some effort into fixing it up."

"House was not as clean as it should have been, had not been vacuumed or swept recently but everything else was fine. The breaker kept tripping but when we notified the manager of why they provided exactly what we needed to keep that from happenign again. We will stay again and will recommend this management service and this home to our friends. Thanks for a great stay!"
