Recent Reviews About This Property

"The location was great, parking is terrible and the place needs some love. "

Leslie K. from Phoenix, 08/23/2023

"The only redeeming qualities of this property are its location within Pismo and the fact it has a functional bathroom. Things you MUST be aware of:

1 – There is no parking, despite it being listed on the amenities. There is only street parking and anyone who knows anything about Pismo knows how street parking can be.

2 – There are no laundry facilities, despite it being listed on the amenities. This is just out-and-out false advertising as there are no directions provided as to how to get to the laundry, if even one exists.

3 – There is NO room within the house to congregate as a group. This place is SMALL with limited space.

4 – The “Master Bedroom” has a queen bed that is horribly noisy and can only be accessed on one side, be ready to crawl over your bed mate.

5 – There is a heater but no thermostat, so the heater just comes on randomly and smells like it does not burn all the gas as there is a strong smell of gas coming from the unit.

6 – The place is OLD and marginally kept up, you will NOT feel comfortable.

To be completely honest, there are MUCH better places to stay within Pismo that provide much more in terms of comfort and amenities than this place. I would not stay here again if they offered the place for free.

Closing on a positive note, the property management personnel were great."

Matthew M. from Riverside, 06/02/2023

"Cute little cozy cottage. Had a weird smell yet was overall clean. Great location, walking distance to restaurants, attractions & the pier. "

Tony D. from Cambridge, 05/02/2023

"We were very close to everything, and it was woth the money"

from Duluth, 03/03/2023

"This was perfect for our little vacation. Everything we needed. "

from Gabriola, 01/10/2023

"This cottage reminded me of beach vacations from long ago. It was modest but completely adequate for 3 adults. The location is good, a short walk from the beach and many restaurants and the Monarch butterfly grove.
The wi-fi service was good but remember to bring a fire stick or equivalent. The TVs are not set up for streaming."

from Chapel Hill, 12/29/2022

"We thought the house was really cute. It was perfect for our family of four. I would say that there was alot of spider webs around. Those need to be addressed. Otherwise we liked it.
One of the ladies in the office was pretty rude but all the rest did great and were super nice. "

from Visalia, 06/22/2022

"Always an awesome time in Pismo! Love the beach! "

Cheryl C. from Fullerton, 08/15/2021

"Good spot. Small, but well-equipped."

from Lafayette, CO. 80026, 07/13/2021

"The place was very comfortable, very close to the beach & restaurants. Perfect did people with children. We had so much fun at that beach cabin and will definitely be back. "

from Fresno, 07/07/2021

"Good experience "

Paul C. from SAN DIEGO, 06/09/2021

"Spacious, clean, all the amenities you could ask for made it hard to get outside and enjoy the fresh ocean air. "

Stacey M. from Merced, 11/03/2020

"i loved the little house....will rent it again"

Lucy T. from Tulare, 09/05/2020

"The location was awesome! Couple blocks from the pier. The Rental could use a little pick me up.
For the price $300 a night (including fees) I thought there could have been better Bedding/linens(bring your own pillows) and a better BBQ. Shared hibachi little one. The cottage was stocked with all the necessary utensils for cooking which we did. I think for the price the owner shouldn't shop at a dollar store to stock it. Overall great location!!!"

Darla N. from Stockton, 07/23/2020

"Everything was good, except the mattresses were not comfortable."

from Concord, 12/29/2019

"This places is 5 stars! It’s perfect for 4 people! "

Paulina A. from Modesto, 08/07/2019

"The house is small but it worked perfect for my family. I just wish it had another queen beds instead of 2 twin beds. They had pots, plates, even seasoning everything you could think of it was a great stay I would definitely be coming back to stay again! ☺️"

Carlos & Isaac Z. from Selma, 06/23/2016

"Rented this little cottage for 2 months and was very happy. Nice and quite which is a plus on a weekend in pismo. Coastal vacation staff was quick to resolve any problems I had."

Dean E. from Clayton, 06/08/2016

"Been here for about six weeks, the cottage is very nice, clean and comfortable.Short walk to the beach and downtown. Would recommend it for your stay in Pismo."

Dean E. from Clayton, 05/19/2016

"This was the first time I rented from Costal Vacations and it was a great experience. The staff was very accommodating, helping me find a place that fit my needs. It was reasonably priced, had evertyhing I needed to spend a month, close to the beach & easy access to Hwy 101. "

Carol W. from Racine, 04/18/2016

"The cottage was sparkling clean, extremely convenient and everything function well. Great supply of linens. Kitchen items could be reviewed. Service was great. Would recommend."

Joy M. from Johns Island, 12/15/2015

"Great property and location. Very cozy. The only complaint would be parking. We didn't realize there would not be assigned parking only street parking. Which is very busy and almost impossible during the day. It does clear out after dark. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay. Very friendly accomodating office staff. "

Tommy S. from Early, 07/25/2015

"over all it was great. seating for a long time not good. parking could be a real problem as this one had on street parking only. but that also meant we could walk to most everything. the ocean, restaurants, shops. the kitchen and bath were great. well worth the money "

Judy G. from La Crosse, 11/30/2014

"The stay was fun. We had a good time. We did need to go out and buy a bathtub stopper. We would come again. Thanks "

Diane M. from Tulare, 08/18/2014

"We all had a good time!"

from Visalia, 06/25/2014

"nice one"

from SAN JOSE, 09/19/2013

"The location of 345 is perfect. If you're not looking to spend much time in the unit, then this is the place for you. The living space is very small with no dining table to eat. The beds occupy the entirety of the bedrooms. The bathroom is large and the 'mud room' provided lots of space for towels and other equipment. The cramped quarters are balanced with the proximity to the beach and town. "

MIchele B. from Monrovia, 08/15/2013

"Happy time"

Jim R. from Milpitas, 08/11/2013

"1-The room with the double bed needs a smaller end table, so the bed can be moved over, and the person sleeping next to the wall doesn't have to crawl over the other one to get out of bed.
2-Great location, but very noisy at times, due to the busy traffic."

Laverne & Evelyn H. from Visalia, 06/27/2013

"I was very satified with my stay, and I look forward to staying there next year!
Thank you."

Jenny C. H. from Selma, 06/19/2013

"this little cottage was just perfect for us. we enjoyed our stay and will do it again soon.
"

from Dinuba, 05/30/2013

"great to have cottage with the house.
Steps need to be fixed"

Linda S. from Hanford, 02/27/2013

"Overall the place was nice but I felt that the beds were not clean and had a smell of dirty (not just musty) The bedspread in front bedroom had stuff on it so made me wonder if sheets were clean?? It could use some new carpet (maybe thats were the smell came in)?? I could suggest a few things to make it easier for customers and more brighter. Just because it is an older unit does not mean it can't look like a well kept cottage. I would stay there again if I could still park in the parking space close by. Not sure if it was a fluke that we were able to park there this time. You don't have to post this for everyone to see, just wanted management to see. Weather was great during our stay and had to go back to 100 plus temp "

from Bakersfield, 08/15/2012

"Needs a little TLC. "

Ken T. from Galt, 08/14/2012

"thank u had a great time ."

Darrel R. from Newbury Park, 08/10/2012

"Only issue was the location. Right next to a large apartment/hotel complex where a load party was going on Sat. night until midnight.
Parking could have been a problem as other cars had mine blocked in that same Sat. night. If I had needed to get out that night it would have been an issue. Other nights were OK, as the college kids had all left by Sunday noon."

from Santa Clara, 07/20/2012

"Carpeting could use a little cleaning, but otherwise accommodations were wonderful. Quiet neighborhood. Comfortable bedding. Thank you for a wonderful stay."

Carol/Harold A. from Shakopee, 06/16/2012

"222"

Gregory C. from Tolar, 06/04/2012

"Wonderful little place too stay at a very affordable rate."

Eddie C. from Ribon, 02/21/2012

"Most of the family was in a 4 bedroom condo next door, but we cooked a turkey, dressing and gravy in this smaller unit and it worked well for us."

from San Diego, 11/28/2011

"It was really a nice rental in a great location. Everything was great except it takes too long to get your deposit back, they said it wont be processed until sometime next week. I hope I get it back before my credit card period ends."

from San Maeto, 11/30/2010

"We were pleasantly surprised by how lovely the house was. It was very clean and welcoming. It was plenty big enough for the 3 of us and would be great for a family of four. Our only small issue was with one of the owners of the condos beside us. He blocked off the parking on the lot next to us so his party of 20 could park there for the weekend. He was also a bit rude to us when we got there. Later, he did apologize. He wasn't even staying in the house next to us! Other than that, the location was great--tucked far enough from the street to avoid the crowd on the 4th of July, but close enough to carry lawn chairs and walk to the pier to watch the fireworks show. I recommend this house and company to all!"

Valerie P. from Bakersfield, 07/21/2010

"A nice but fairly small 2 bedroom cottage. A very short walk to the beach and center of Pismo. Behind another property and dwarfed by a large building next door (toward the beach) so there are no views. If you like to be close to everything this is a pretty good place to be. And, reasonably priced for the size."

Gary S. from Moraga, 07/14/2010

"The house was very comfortable, and all items needed were provided in the house, utensils, silverware, most kitchen items. Loved it, very clean."

Jenny C. H. from Selma, 06/30/2010

"Missing some basics like garbage disposal and dishwasher (not room for one though). No shower curtain liner, no bath mat, no hooks in bathroom. Should have bathroom heat lamp and fan combo in ceiling. Towel bars are very flimsy and cheap. Kitchen knives very cheap also. Table in LR wobbly. Very nicely decorated otherwise and well kept. Location is great. More nice artwork would be a bonus (posters etc.). "
