"We had a spectacular time in Avila Beach! This place is in a perfect location and we were surprised that their were so many restaurants, shops, brew pubs and wine bars since it seems like a very small town. We went on a whale watching sailboat, hiked in Montana de Oro, and saw tons of sea life and birds right from the balcony. Bring binoculars! Don't forget to get the fresh caught fish off the furthest pier and kayaking is a must do!"

"We've rented 356 and 258 Front Street for a long weekend with our extended family four times and always loved our stay. With both units, you can open the entire balcony, which overlooks Avila Beach.
Access to the beach is fabulous — it is across the street. This is great for a large group of people who want to come and go. Our primary activity is hanging out at the beach, but people come and go for food, ice cream and shopping.
The units are comfortable. We have a big family dinner in one unit one night, the other unit the next. We eat at the Farmer's Market — up the street directly below the property — on Friday night.
The place is clean and the property manager responsive. We look forward to our stay all year.

"The following is for the rental company only, not to be used publically. — We were pleased overall with the rental. The only complaint was that the 2nd bedroom had no window and no ceiling fan. It was very “stuffy” in the room with no ventilation and the temperatures being in the high 80s. Luckily we had a fan in the master that we utilized in the 2nd bedroom and it helped a little. It should at least have a ceiling fan installed. Otherwise, we enjoyed the rental.

"Our family stayed here for my daughters college graduation in San Luis Obispo. We loved the location. Right outside the door are many great restaurants and coffee shops. The beach is across the street. Loved sitting on the deck and watching the beautiful sunsets. The condo comes equipped with everything you could need. "

"My husband and I stayed in this rental and it was amazing. The deck alone is epic and so nice to have a dinner and watch the waves. Very spacious and they give you a blow up bed, extra blankets, a pull out couch bed plus the two bedrooms. We will for sure be coming back to this awesome spot."

"My wife and I stayed for 4 nights with our three boys and had an awesome time - lots of beach time and a amazing sailing trip with Capt Mark with Central Coast Sailing (highly recommended!) - the store below the unit has everything you need and plenty to do within walking distance (swings on the beach, Pirate Park two blocks away, great skateboarding / scooters along the boardwalk, kid-friendly restaurants, and more). Make sure you drive over to Avila Farm to feed the animals too! Great Vacation - could see this becoming a yearly tradition!"

"We held our extended family reunion in Avila Beach at this property. We all had such a nice time. The property management answers the phone promptly and is courteous and responsive. I found this comforting. The location is just lovely. Beds are comfortable, but 2 of the "Sleeps 8" are on the sleeper sofa in the living room. We frolicked on the beach, played golf, hiked over to San Luis Pier, and relaxed on the balcony."

"You cannot beat the location of this rental with the beach just across the quiet street. But you will need sandals when it is hot or you burn your feet on the asphalt and the stairs leading down to the beach.
There are no beach towels at the condo and no salt or pepper. You can buy a few supplies in the deli on the ground floor (e.g. milk) but you had better plan to drive to Pismo Beach or San Luis Obispo to buy groceries.
We managed to fit two cars into the long, skinny garage under the store which you enter from the back, from 1st Street. From the garage you have to haul your bags up two flights of stairs. Or you can park in front of the store for a few minutes and walk along the south side of the store to the back to climb just one flight of stairs.
There a great rocks for finding crabs, sea aneome, and mussels with a five minute walk down the beach away from the pier. We also found sand dollars and other pretty shells at low tide. But the water is very cold, in the low 50's even in late June. We rented wetsuits and boogie boards for $5 each just under the pier, but the water will still leave your hands and feet numb after a while.
The fold out couch has a thin mattress and lumpy surface. But it sure was nice to fall asleep to the sound of the waves.
We really liked the outdoor shower on the back deck as a way to wash off the sand before entering the condo. "

"There were no cleaning supplies for a long stay, no dish soap and one diswashing detergent packet. There was also no sponge to do dishes or wipe down counters. Otherwise, it was a fabulous place with an amazing location. I would absolutely recommend it. The bunk beds were also pretty noisy, but i dont think that kids would mind. "

"This was one of the best places we have ever stayed. The view, the convenience to the beach and the parking were great. The only draw back were the 40 stairs from the garage to the door. They are only a pain the day you move in and the day you leave when you have to carry over loaded suitcases and other "Must Have" items "
