"This is my second time staying in this house. My dog got so excited when we pulled up because she knew of the good times we are about to have. She got to go to the beach twice a day because it’s such an easy walk. And the convenience of the back yard can not be beat. The house itself is charming and has everything you need!"

"We had a good time and the house was decent but not great. Main home was clean but the detached portion was a little gross. The carpet was very dirty. The bathroom was kind of clean. The shower head leaked everywhere. For the price I guess I shouldn't complain but next time I will probably want to try a different address."

"Nice older home in town. We almost got used to traffic and garbage truck. We got to walk to beach each day, that was our goal. The home was clean, just a few stains on carpets and coach. We enjoyed the kitchen and made some good dinners, we had a nice birthday dinner for our son. My chore was washing dishes, had a good selection of utensils, but no dish washer. Check in and check out was easy, very nice service."

"The house was a little stuffy at first but we opened all of the windows and it cooled down in a few hours. The house was in a perfect location, close to restaurants and the beach. I would recommend more fans to help with circulation. Other than that we would definitely stay again, next time we are in Pismo Beach."

"This cottage home worked really well for our stay with 2 small dogs. I was specifically looking for a place that had outdoor access for them. There was a pet application and substantial fee. We didn’t use the detached room w en-suite bathroom but Is a nice option if your traveling with another couple. I did a grocery run 1 highway exit over. And made good use of the kitchen. The kitchen had just about everything. I did not use the washer and dryer. The TVs in the living room and primary bedroom have cable no premium channels.
There are just a few minor things to note. The carpet in the bedrooms appears to be old had a bit of a musty odor. The bathroom is narrow and from the window the toilet, sink and shower are visible. The window covering is completely torn which was a privacy issue. Also one set of living room blinds was broken. I informed the property management company but they were unable to resolve these 2 things during my 4 day stay. They were working on it.
The house is only a few blocks from the pier. There are 2 great restaurants kitty corner to the house: Rosa’s Italian and Ada’s. There are many within walking distance.
I will consider staying here in the future."

"This home its in an ideal location, just 3 blocks from the beach and three blocks from downtown Pismo. It has living room, 2 bedrooms. bath, kitchen and dining room in the main house and 1 bedroom and bath in separate back unit. Parking is tight but works, with more space on the street.
We thought this was an ideal place for our one month vacation. It is older but in good condition, has a beach house feel to it, was well stocked with everything and anything else we needed was easily available."

"We loved our stay, our family came down from Seattle for a wedding in arroyo grande. The house was perfect, close to shops, the beach, wedding venue. It's hard to ease everyone in our group, but somehow everyone was happy! My only, only concern was the lack of outdoor lighting, especially getting to master bedroom. Loved our stay, we will return!

"Five guys hanging out and enjoying the central coast, all the amenities were perfect. I just wish would read it more thoroughly, didn’t realize about the detached room, but discovered it our first night, and I moved in there and slept like a baby.. all my friends enjoyed the location and easy to walk around Pismo . We will be staying there again, they also were curious if there are any houses in shell beach that you have for rentals ?"

"Once we found the separate bedroom and bath the place began to make sense. Glad to be in Pismo for our granddaughters graduation from Cal Poly. The deck with BBQ was a great place for Sunday dinner. "

"The beach cottage at 369 Stimson was perfect. It was clean and had all the amenities you need for a great stay. It is perfectly located to beach and shops. Great space for 6 to comfortably stay and interact. Don't miss Surfside Donuts. Donuts and lattes are the best. Rental staff was easy to work with as was the owner. Fenced in back yard makes it great for kids and dogs. Perfect space. Also has a washer and dryer. I would go back if we find ourselves in the area. Thanks for a wonderful vacation."

"We stayed in this bungalow just blocks from the beach for 10 days in August. Our adult children were able to join us on the weekends. We visited with cousins and family that live nearby. We walked almost everywhere we needed to go. It was restful and relaxing!

"We celebrated graduation from Cal Poly and found this vs. renting several motel rooms. The location is very convenient, too. I rate the condition and cleanliness lower as the unit was a little dusty and it felt unclean. I cannot say enough about the location and overall units size. We'll be back!"

"This is a perfect house to stay for a few days in Pismo. The patio with a grill and small yard was a very nice spot to hang out after a day at the beach. Everything was clean and easy and went very well. The only complaints were that the trash cans outside were overflowing when we got there and there was nowhere to put our trash. The lot next door was also under construction (we stayed June 12-15, 2014) and during weekdays, there were bulldozers and load equipment going that started at 6:30 a.m. They did take the weekend off though. Overall, I would definitely stay here again. It is a quick walk to the beach and places to eat, bars, and shops."

"Very close to downtown and the beach. Lots of room to relax after a day at the beach. The detached bed and bath was convenient for our daughters boyfriend and our piece of mind. Beds are comfy, main bathroom is small but clean. For the price better than staying in a cramped hotel, and perfect for a family with a dog."

"I had difficulties reserving house initially because the reservationist was new and unprofessional. I called back several times with questions regarding property and booking fees and always felt unimportant. The house itself was directly next door to a condemned housing unit that has been vandalized. Inside of house was surprisingly clean, well kept and comfortable. Wish dealing with Coastal Vacations would have been more pleasant, but overall house was great & I would return."

"A bit odd for for 1B/1B to be behind the main house and off from the yard but it would make for a nice private seperate living space if traveling with friends vs family. Location PERFECT, easily walk to beach, restaurants and shopping. Will have to plan a trip back! "

"Location was great and the property has a nice fenced in backyard with a deck and lawn. Good for pets! But the complex next door was abandoned and was scary looking. The house was decent and clean, but it lacked things like dish soap, which we needed. The guest house was good additional space, but a little dingy. It could use new floors, a coat of paint, and curtains on the doors. We should have also been told to bring our own shampoo & bath soap, or is should have been included. Overall, it was an okay place to stay considering the proximity to the beach, but could have been much better with a few upgrades. "

"The shower head does not move to adjust the height. The bathroom in the back house was nicer than the one in the main house. I was happy with how quick the non operating tv was replaced, with a brand new tv. The location was perfect, and in all the years that we have been renting from you guys this is the first time that I have not been completly happy with the place that we used. "
